Firmware updates are optional, but as improvements / bugs / changes
arise, new versions will become available. To update your Sequarallel you
will require a computer and a micro USB cable.
The windows version uses Xloader software and a .hex file, whereas
the Mac OS or Arduino users can use the Arduino IDE and the .ino file for updating.
* Note: If using Arduino FW version, IDE V1.8.9 still fine,
but Mac OS requires V.1.8.10 as the previous is no longer compatible with
new OS.
** For mac, this hasn't been tested but should
work:

Set port, Atmega2560, open included hex file
SEQUARALLEL.ino.hex, click

The windows version will require CH341 drivers (included in .zip)
while the Mac OS already has the CH341 drivers.
For possible other OS, download Windows version to
get .hex file, and go here
to possibly get Xloader for your OS.
You will need to copy SEQUARALLEL.ino.hex and devices.txt from Windows
